Nintendo Wii Remote Controller

Nintendo is setting out to make waves in the video gaming world with the addition of the Nintendo Wii into the family of consoles for the video game giant. Not just by putting a new name or updating the graphic capability is Nintendo looking to make a splash with the Wii, but by making a change in the way we play the games from top to bottom. You will have the chance to leave messages for family members on specific days or send text messages to friends' right from the console, but that is not where the Wii hangs its hat. No, Nintendo is setting itself apart from the rest of the industry with the Wii's new remote controller.

There is no shortage of video game veterans who remember the annoying, and nightmarish, recurring figure in the Nintendo original game "Duck Hunt" who would appear when you were struggling. That downright mean and vindictive dog would pop up and laugh when you continued to miss the birds that kept coming faster and faster as you continued to miss. It was the gun! The gun didn't work and the aim was poor at best, you just knew it! If only Nintendo Wii was around at that time you would have been able to avoid that horrible dog, or at least wouldn't have had to blame him for so much of your pain.

With the emergence of the Nintendo Wii the gaming world will get to experience a remote controller with motion detection technology that puts you right in the game. Think of it as the opportunity for you to finally become one of those funny looking figures in a Nintendo game, only without the annoying appearance of that dog. Seriously, what you need to know is that if the game calls for swinging, like a golf club, then you hold the controller in your hand and swing to hit the ball, then Nintendo takes over.

The controller sends a signal to the sensor bar that you put up in front of the television from up to 30 feet from the bar. Think of this fact if you are considering what the best gaming console may be for your child during this holiday season, with Nintendo Wii your child will actually get a little physical exercise while being able to play a game in the comfort of your living room. Don't believe me? You try playing tennis on the Nintendo Wii, it is shockingly close to playing on a real court, and you just better have your powerful backhand ready to go!

With your controller you control your character's movements along with the action that you are doing in the actual game. Whether you are skating, playing tennis, or swimming with Sponge Bob throughout Bikini Bottom, you will control every aspect of your player by moving just as he or she does in virtual gaming paradise!
